We finished tracking the new record yesterday. Hands down, it’s been the most creative, in the pocket, rewarding studio time I’ve ever spent. That has a lot to do with the year leading up to it as much as the past two weeks we spent recording it. You know that feeling you get when you’ve taken all your demons by the horns and told them to fuck off? When you take actions based on instinct and brush away all the chatter that doubt junks up your mind with. When you have complete faith in the task at hand and you just know it’ll bring you forward in ways you never imagines.  Leap and the net will appear. This path never ceases to amaze me.  The universe just keeps expanding and fuck! it’s incredible. We’re a blessed bunch to be on this planet working ourselves out with each other.
